“Nowadays, human beings are surrounded by ever growing technology. Therefore, we, humans, need to continuously change ourselves in order to adapt to new ways of life. We are evolving to become more distant from the nature, traditions, and our true selves. Nonetheless, through this evolution the beauty of humankind remains.”- Wattanachot Tungateja

Every living thing always evolve themselves due to environmental change. From physical to mental modification, things are changing from time to time. Especially the evolution of human that has been influenced with experiences. We can not turn back time and bring anything back, but it only left us with memories, good and bad ones, There is no perfection : the truth of life.
"Experimental Human” a presentation of human’s physical evolution through head-like sculptures. Portraying different images of the artist that change by time, ages, and emotions including social effects, love, impression, hatred, passion, sexual desire, and a never-ending longing to present various kinds of human emotions.
WATTANACHOT TUNGATEJA
Wattanchot Tungateja was born in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand in 1960. He studied Printmaking at Poh-Chang Academy of Fine Arts in Bangkok and Burapha University, Thailand before he went to Los Angeles to study at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1988.
In 2010, Wattanachot won his First Prize of The 10th Great Oriental Art Exhibition from Dali University, Yunnan in China, Gold Medal from 1st Ecorea Jeonbuk Biennale 2012 in Korea and Excellence Award from Shanghai International Contemporary Art Exhibition 2017 in China. He also won Outstanding Alumni's Award from Burapha University in 2010 and Poh-Chang Academy of Fine Arts in 2107
His artworks were created with various techniques such as watercolor painting, acrylic painting, printmaking, ceramic sculpturing and mixed media. He has been selected to exhibit his works for many exhibitions in many countries such as USA, Poland, Italy, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh and Thailand.
